@MA-mh1vs because he had a duty to retreat instead of standing around instigating until that dude pulled a knife and threatened him, he was supposed to retreat. You can't start a fight, pull a gun and then clean with self-defense

@firstsgt279 no he wouldn't because he has the duty to retreat and it seemed like they were arguing back and forth before the person brought out the knife to begin with. The guy with the knife was telling the bigger guy to leave and to go away, the bigger guy stood around it and insugated. I don't know what kind of law you studied lol

@dirtpower6714 That doesn't show major restraint at all, his life was not in great danger or threat of bodily harm. Somebody pulling a knife doesn't mean that you automatically get the fire on them.

@DEADLINE4157 That's because people need to do like I do and go get a 4.0 in law before they pick up a gun or a knife and think that they can claim self-defense. It is very an extremely rare to win on a self-defense case in this country. That's why I tell anybody I know who has a gun if you use it be prepared to spend the rest of your life in prison even if you feel you were justified.

I saw part of his vest, he looked like he might be patched up AKA 1% or which means that he likely has done prison time and has put some type of numbers under his belt if you know what I mean, if you don't then don't worry about it lol But I grew up in the life

The guy with the knife was telling the aggressor to go. The guy with the knife probably would have had a decent case because he was much smaller than the man on the bike and he felt physically threatened, however size is not the only thing a jury would take into consideration, the bigger man may have a traumatic brain injury or live with a terminal condition that could reduce every step to that of a taking time gone. So what it boils down to is what a reasonable person would believe somebody would feel is imminent threat of great bodily harm or dea7h. But you cannot aggress toward somebody who's trying to fight you and then pull out a weapon and claim that you're using self-defense. Most jurisdictions say that FAO have a DUTY TO RETREAT unless you are in your home.

@babkeebabkus8177 exactly that guy was baiting him because he was telling him to leave while at the same time being confrontational. He knew he was going to get the Geiger brandish. I had somebody do that to me recently and then they called the cops on me when I gave them a verbal. I have a Glock bumper sticker on my vehicle, I haven't had any car prowlers or break-ins since I've got it on my car a few years ago, but I have had more people (coincidentally every single one of them is a man😂) trying to bait me into rage antics.

I have a traumatic brain injury in every day despite years of therapy, I relive what happened to me to cause me to have a entirely new personality and to warp my former perspective on life. To destroy my family and everything that I have worked my entire life to build up and have it swept out from underneath me. I am high functioning autistic and I've suffered a lot of shit in life people have no idea about and then they want to come and put their fucking hand up in my face in the window at the red light over some bullshit I don't fucking think so bro
