The media even reported that Trump didn't have sensitive documents at Mar-a-Lago, just things like magazine covers, that he considered personal memorabilia -- which is not only legal for him to take, but within usual norms. That whole incident was Merick Garland being the dweeb that he is. An indictment would only backfire.

  3.  @Lightning613  It does kind of mean that. The check on the president is impeachment. I'm sure there are many other laws that apply to the president. But the president could declassify anything and give it to an adversary. And he can do it just by saying it. All the CNN watching normies were saying "There's a process. He can't just wave a magic wand and declassify." No. He pretty much can. You can't have a bureaucracy that takes a Constitutional authority from the President.
