@g9lk The ex president has the right to access all of his documents. Thus they're kept in storage, with access by both NARA and the president. The president (NOT the NARA) decides what are presidential records and what are personal records. The NARA has no authority over personal records.

So they did a raid, rather than just show up with a warrant, because they didn't want Trump's team to tamper with the documents. (Though he can legally do that, within restrictions in the pres. records act, because they're his records.) But then the FBI tampered with the documents after they showed up. It's amazing phenomenon that TDS makes people really stupid.

@g9lk That's a lie. He was cooperating with NARA. Then Biden ordered the raid. This is in the documents released by Judge Cannon. The FBI then tampered with the documents, thus the criminal case is all but dead.

The documents also say that the FBI tampered with the documents, putting them in their own folders labeled "highly classified". And the FBI had documents shipped there before the raid. So, again, as in every Trump scandal, the plaintiffs are the crooks.

@g9lk So because Trump's lawyer asked for an extension until April 29 before the NARA hand 15 boxes to the FBI, that is grounds for a criminal investigation? 🤦‍♀ Step back a second, instead of the fake bureaucratic state/CNN narrative. The NARA already had the 15 boxes. These were Trump's records and there were documents the FBI and Biden administration wanted buried. The DOJ/FBI was itching for a confrontation. It takes years for the document archiving process to carry out.

@g9lk Dude. The archiving process takes years. Obama's records still aren't archived, but in a Chicago warehouse. And the president has ultimate authority on what are personal and what are presidential records. The only reason the raid happened (according to court records) is that it was ordered by Biden.
