A stipulation "he is no longer allowed to run." is likely unconstitutional. The Constitution lists the requirements for being president.

@thilli1859 He didn't say that. He said the constitution was suspended because states governors changed the voting rules, when the constitution states that state legislatures pass election rules.

@zq9m3xh8 Yep. Makes me wonder when the Supreme Court is going to weigh in on all of this BS.

I love the Democrat/uniparty talking point, "Joe Biden returned the classified documents immediately." After having them over 7 (those taken as VP) and over 15 (taken as senator) years. He didn't have to be advised by anyone. He knew that a senator and VP cannot take anything from the scif.

@demonkingbadger6689 I don't really know how cases are decided. Roberts is the Chief. But I don't know if it's just the Chief justice who decides what cases they take. These indictments are based on bonehead media narratives. Eg. this Mar-a-Lago document case is based on not knowing that the president has the constitutional power of document classification. It was the Nat. Archives and FBI that were out of line, not Trump.

@demonkingbadger6689 The Trump scandals, are just politics, of course. But it's just wasted human energy. The Russiagate non-sense was all a waste of time. It was like a dog chasing its tail for 3 years.

@alfabeech It's some leftoid psychological tick, where they constantly play dumb.

@thilli1859 “We have put together I think the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.” Biden, in October 2020. Quit gaslighting. Your side already suspended the constitution, to put in the Potatus.

@Tyler_W The Supreme Court ruled on the 2000 election. There were lawsuits ordering recounts in FL. The SC put a stop to another recount. What we have now is a completely new, banana republic, full blown lawfare. In the past, the DOJ and local DAs would have avoided criminal cases. And these are cases where there is a strong defense. In the past, prosecutors were deterred by the appearance of election interference. Today they're prosecuting motivated by election interference.

This is such blatant election interference. The worst thing that can happen to Trump is that a biased jury of Democrats (the judge will stack the jury with MSNBC/CNN viewers) convicts him. And then it is thrown out by a higher court. The presidential power of document classification is settled by the SCOTUS. It would be the same situation if they prosecuted him for firing Comey. The entire media was on fire with "this is criminal", "he needs to be prosecuted.". Except, it was a constitutional presidential power.
