  1. These "gay ops" are always just self-owns in the end. The goal of the Jan 6 committee is to convince the Dem base that Trump plotted and insurrection, that he committed crimes. But to do that, they had to eliminate all the standards of an actual legal investigation: admitting hearsay, no cross examination, no defense witnesses. Garland knows he can't prosecute based on this.
