  2. They've destroyed the credibility of the legal system so much that sentencing Trump would actually help him. There's no way that case survives appeal. They had to use "novel legal tactics" just to make these scheme work--Russian nesting doll of crimes, where the prosecution only demonstrates the outer crime which depends on inner crimes which they don't have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. That's unconstitutional.
