You could tell the Russiagate scandal was pure media BS as early as 2017. The media was taking lies from "sources" in the FBI, and other agencies, and repeating them as facts. And they would never retract anything when new "information" contradicted the old. It was already totally goofy in 2017. Recall things like "Jeff Sessions is a Russian agent"--because he met with a Russian ambassador as senator. Just really silly things. It's just proved that there are an unfathomable number of very credulous people.

The biggest lesson I learned is that the laws need to be changed. It should be legal to lie to the FBI. You can't get in trouble for lying to the regular police the way you can with the FBI. The FBI can prosecute if they don't like your answer. They're just a police agency. You're not in court when talking to an agent.
