The diplomatic solution to Ukraine is actually simple. The US could stay out of the former USSR republics politically. Trade isn't a problem, but supporting "pro-democracy" candidates is a politically aggressive act. They're not even pro-democracy; Zelensky jails opponents, and shuts down opposition media.

@natesmith2408 I only know one person, a Brazilian, who went there. It sounds kind of boring. No internet. And drab commie art and architecture -- big buildings, halls, and plazas with very little going on.
