  1. The moderators were "factchecking" Trump, which they didn't do to Harris. Harris also dodged answering many questions. When asked "Are the people better off than 4 years ago.", she went off on how she "grew up middle class" and talked about "opportunity zones" (which is a Trump idea). I think this is why the media is so giddy about her performance. She successfully brought her hide from the media and questions to the debate formate.
