  1. I think the "bring back the golden age of media" article was too regressive even for slate. The internet is just too big for any government to be able to do that. Silicon valley was able to exile Alex Jones, but he's still on the internet.

  2.  @johnj.spurgin7037  The internet is more regulated in Europe. Many countries, world wide block sites, especially porn sites. Western Europe is hard core with copyright and "hate speech" enforcement.
