  1. Especially considering that the neck hold is official police procedure in Minneapolis. Perhaps Floyd's family could sue the city. But how to you convict a cop for following trained procedure? Cities are really going to have difficulty hiring cops. Who in their right mind would work as a cop if their life can get ruined just because some schmuck their arresting dies of an OD?

  2. That was my exact thought "There will be another round of riots after Chauvin is acquitted." Then this video appeared in my feed. Floyd died of a drug reaction, fentanyl and meth, which commonly cause "wooden chest syndrome" where the chest muscles freeze up. The neck hold is an official police procedure in Minneapolis.

  3.  @Chualland  It doesn't mean he's a good cop or person. It only has to absolve him of a crime in this case.
