  1. Their problem is they can't force Biden to step down. The delegates are already committed to Biden. Their only option is that they can 25th him if he wins the election which is very unlikely.

  2. The format actually turned out to favor Trump. Biden was cut off more often and even conceded time to Trump, because of his diminished awareness. And the moderators refrained from their usual corporate "fact checking" and commentary.
