The media was all claiming Trump was lying. When the evidence came out they "debunked" it with the claim that it wasn't "wiretapping" because it was all done by NSA phone collection and unmasking. A classic fake fact check. They claimed it wasn't "wiretapping" because no one put actual wires on the Trump Tower phone box.

@monkeygraborange Playing dumb is the strangest propaganda tactic. It requires group think. They all had to simultaneously pretend that putting physical wires on a phone box was at all relevant. We don't change our idioms just because the technology changes. People still "film movies" even though 90% are done with digital equipment.

@monkeygraborange Even in the 80's they didn't put wires on a phone line. The police would get a warrant and the phone co. would record it for them. What has changed is that there is an NSA which will record phone calls without a warrant.

@monkeygraborange Fortunately the Durham investigation is uncovering who was responsible. Apparently, Jake Sullivan, Biden's Nat. Security Advisor, was involved in the hacks.

@monkeygraborange I don't actually know how that works. If the Attorney Gen. can prevent prosecutions recommended by a special prosecutor. I suppose it does work that way. The Mueller report went to Barr. But I think Durham is an actual prosecutor. Mueller didn't even know what the Steele Dossier is, what a joke.
