But the Iraq WMD is a case of the intel agencies being wrong, rather than lying. First, it was true that Saddam was in defiance of the ceasefire and UN. Second, the CIA, White House, Congress, Nato, and the U.N. All thought he had illegal stockpiles of chemical weapons.

  2. Valerie Plame was a bureaucrat. She didn't know anything about Iraq. Her husband Joe Wilson, who she sent to Niger, thought Iraq had chemical weapons also. So you're calling Plame's husband a liar also.

  3. My comment is still just as much of an argument to not trust the intel agencies. The Iraq case was the CIA giving too much credibility to Iraqi defectors, such as the Camel Brothers, and Ahmad Chalibi, and believing Saddam's bluffs. Today we have the MSM amplifying the CIA and NSA's lies/incompetence. The "17 intelligence agencies believe Russia hacked the DNC server" was debunked a year ago. But MSNBC and CNN still repeat it all the time. Because they have no honesty.
