@themadmattster9647 I had some relatives visit me in NYC. They're progressive Porlanders, watch Rachel Maddow every night, etc. And they got terrified just walking around the city. With one berating me "You don't have a sense of danger." But we were just walking around lower Manhattan at night.

@jenniferj5324 Riots started 2020 May or June. I think it has mostly let up. But crime is going up because of the stupid DA, and city government that laid off a bunch of cops. They tried to hire them back, but no one wanted the jobs.
