  1. Except this was the most clumsy ham-fisted attempt at a hoax. He even paid the actors with a personal check. He hired two African, not white guys. And were were supposed to believe that two homophobic attackers jumped him in the gay district of Chicago yelling out "this is MAGA country". This was so obviously fake from the beginning. Besides being obvious lies, everything is what an out of touch wealthy SJW would think a hate attack was. Orthodox jews get attacked in NYC, and it is never a white conservative Trump voter. Every single time, it has been a black person. In fact, the Trump voters in NYC are the orthodox jews, because the Democrats are more anti-semitic. DeBlassio was locking up synagogues while allowing rioters to trash businesses.

  2.  @keiichi8191  Surveys have found that conservatives/libertarians understand progressives much better than the converse. These hoaxes are always obvious. Because they check all the boxes of what a progressive SJW thinks conservatives think. The stranger question is why certain people have fetishized victimhood. Smollet wanted to be a victim so badly that he committed crimes and might go to jail. Have so self-respect.

  4.  @zxyatiywariii8  It's a strange phenomenon of a culture of rich privileged victims. Colin Kaepernick has made a career out of it. Oprah Winfrey and Megan Markel were playing that role also--an oppressed billionaire and princess.

  5. The two things in American culture that make me glad I'm living overseas currently are 1. The f-ck white people thing. 2. Minorities that obsess, and try to cash in, over victimhood status. You'd think a sense of pride would get in the way of that.
