  4.  @MrHowardMoon  The system in the US for drugs for chronic conditions is that those without insurance, or without 100% insurance coverage, can get on an assistance program by the drug co. Then they get it for free or at a small copay. The drug companies charge the insurance companies a high price. In many cases Europeans pay more out of pocket.
