The Democrat platform on CRT is literally to lie to the public that it is not in the public schools. McAullif himself made it part of the curriculum when he was last governor. I normally wouldn't care who's the governor of Virginia, but this was such a deserved loss.

@Imlaor25 It's a part of Marxist ideology that the state owns the children. And that's a sure was to piss off parents. But this was even worse than that. The Loudoun county school board, and the schools, covered up a rape, so they could defend a trans bathroom policy. That's pretty much criminal. And the Democrat party sided with the school board.

@Karalevsky Borzoi I think that's always a factor--the enthusiasm level for each candidate determines turnout. Democrats always complain after a loss "We would have won if people just showed up to vote." But that's just another way of saying that you lost. (But they're trying to change that with mass mail in balloting. They'll fill out and rubber stamp ballots, so that everyone who is still listed as "living" will vote.)

@johnwolf2829 Some countries have legally mandatory voting. I'm adamantly opposed to that. Democracy isn't just counting bodies, it's people actively participating.

It has always bugged me that "systemic racism" is just something that supposed to be in the aether of society. Racial discrimination in government, or corporate, institutions is illegal. They can point to no system causing systemic racism, but a certain it exists. There exists non-systemic, individual racism, not systemic. They're either abusing the language, or it's some propaganda strategy like the Democrats lying that CRT is not taught in schools.

If you don't vote for the party of slavery, kkk, and jim crow, then "you're racist". WTF?
