  1. The Democrats thought they could tell the citizens what they wanted, rather than doing what they wanted. On the corporate media you'd hear this machine gun of fake anti-Trump smears, "organized and insurrection, impeached twice, bragged about grabbing pussy, paid off a hooker, threw catchup on the wall, disgraced loser, broke, lover of dictators, who poured fish food in the coy pond and threw paper towels." It's finally dawning on them that the majority of the public does not care about any of that.
