  1. The Tuskegee experiment started before syphilis was treatable. Where the ethic went terribly wrong is that after it became treatable with antibiotics they didn't inform the the subjects who had no knowledge or access to proper medicine.

  2. The problem with the WMD hoax. Or one of the reasons it happened, was because Saddam Hussein was pretending he had all these chemical weapons, that he declared having after the Gulf War. The Neocons were just happy to take his bluff at face value, because they wanted war.

  3. The Apollo program was too big to be a conspiracy. There were 400,000 scientists and engineers from many countries working on it. Many corporations working on it. All the equipment was built by contractors. which involved probably 100 corporations. Plus there are 842 lbs of Moon rocks brought back. You could fake the rocks, but is every geologist who has studied them part of the conspiracy? They would all have to lie in their publications that the rocks they examined weren't Earth rocks. The rocks resulted in the current prevailing theory that the Moon was created by a Mars sized planed crashing into the Earth 6 billion years ago.

  4. They still poison alcohol. It's called denatured alcohol. If you by a can of ethanol at the hardware store, it has been "poisoned" by adding some amount of methanol. It's obviously done to prevent people from consuming it. One shouldn't drink industrial quality ethanol anyways.

  5. Only the US has ever built a vehicle powerful enough to land people on the moon. Only the Saturn V and the recent SLS have the payload ability. You have to lift a rocket into Earth orbit, which can take a space craft to Moon orbit.

  6. Iran Contra was not really a conspiracy "theory". It was actually the means the Reagan administration went to to fund the Contras in Nicaragua. The Democrats took over Congress, and they cut off funding. It happened because of the very aggressive anit-communism in the GOP in the 80s. It was all made public in hearings.
