In that past 5 years, the same thing happened to Sam Harris. I mention it, because he used to be one of my favorite podcasters, commentators, until about 2016. But he turned cowardly, and started sucking up to BS corporate media narratives.

@rahn45 This was about the Muhammad cartoon controversy, not Ukraine. Seth MacFarland is a Democrat who mostly supports the government narrative.

The whole G. Floyd thing was just based on optics. Chauvin was hold him down, because "excited delirium" is considered a serious mortality risk for people ODing or wigging out on drugs. Floyd was saying "I can't breath" repeatedly when he was in the car. They took him out to get fresh air and lie down.

Is that really true? After the Gulf War, many Iraqis thought it was their chance to get rid of Saddam. There were up risings around Iraq, which were crushed by the Iraqi military.

It's comical that the Democrats care much more about Ukraine than Afghanistan, which they invested an entire decade of money and cost thousands of American lives. Basically Biden decided "Uh. We're done. Fuck em." leaving people behind and a massive supply of weapons which are being used to finish off our former allies. I certainly don't like the war. But Ukraine was a part of the USSR for 70 years, and nobody cared.

Russian war is just blunt brutality. For the US military it's practically a science. In the Gulf War they sent in stealth bombers to nock out the air defense radar, communications, and power plants. Then they send the cruise missiles to take out the military facilities. So as soon as Iraq encountered the first tank and plane, their military was crippled.

@name-vi6fs South Park lampooned the cartoon hysteria. The whole joke about that, is that if I didn't know better, I'd think Muslims worshiped Muhammad as a god. But the point of the prohibition is the opposite, to prevent him being prayed to by having idols of him.
