  4. This woman is an idiot. She's confusing melatonin, neurotransmitter which regulates sleep, with melanin which pigments skin cells.

  5.  @redhen2470  There actually is a neuro melanin (wikipedia). But it has nothing to do with skin melanin. Its function is likely neuro-protective. Thus it's helpful to prevent senility and dementia.
