They then had a conversation with Flynn with false pretenses, telling him he wasn't under investigation. His lie was not material. Furthermore, they weren't justified in interrogating him. The Logan Act is not taken seriously. People violate the act all the time, and no one has ever been convicted under it. You guys are destroying your own reputation by not just admitting that this whole Russia fiasco was a scandal.

Any responsible judge would issue a directed verdict and apologize to the jury for sitting through a pointless trial. But here's my recommendation to Merchan, Democrat donor, whose family is raising millions for Democrat candidates, throw him in jail. Cause a fiasco, where the Secret Service has to take control of a NY jail, and create a political backlash that will make the boost in popularity Clinton got to impeachment look minor.

The Manhattan Bragg indictment charges Trump with fraudulent business record to cover up a crime, but the indictment doesn't mention what that crime is supposed to be. I suppose he thinks it's the cohen payments to "horseface". But the FEC has ruled that those are not campaign expenditures, and hush money payments are not illegal.
