  1. Mass shootings didn't go down during the assault weapons ban. It didn't ban "assault weapons". It only banned cosmetic features, and bayonet lugs, and certain stocks.

  2. It's depressing that people actually believed Biden was some kind of empathetic healer. The context was basically giving a speech at a funeral. The empathy lasted one minute, then he stood on the bodies to push legislation. He's using tragedy to lie about political issues. Buffalo shooter used an AR type rifle in a state that has an "assault weapons ban", and a red flag law. The latter didn't work because it wasn't enforced. The assault weapons ban did nothing. The shooter replaced the small magazine with a 30 round. (The mag is literally just a plastic or metal box.) The Buffalo shooter actually wrote a paper and gave it to a teacher, saying he wanted to commit a mass shooting. He was referred to psych evaluation, and the FBI had their eye on him. And despite NY red flag laws he was still able to buy a gun.

  3. This guy is such a liar. In 2015 there was the Charlie Hebdo massacre with 10 people murdered with AK47s. And also the Paris shooting where about 150 were killed. The Norway shooter killed 99 with a semi-auto rifle.

  5.  @bbyl1485  He can't confiscate guns like they did in Australia. Australia has an authoritarian streak making it different than America. Also, the Second Amendment and the majority of Americans wouldn't allow it.

  6.  @justkakashi2399  Except that it is an American's 2nd Amendment right. Over 600 children die in car accidents, 400 die drowning in backyard pools, each year. Getting shot is not a high risk.

  7.  @Kaine666  The legislation invented the term "assault weapon". Because "assault rifle" is a military term, meaning select fire (full auto) intermediate power rifle. These civilian rifles are semi-auto only.

He just abandoned all allies there, bother Nato countries with embassies, and Afghan allies working for Nato countries, who would be killed by the Taliban. They were clinging to jets, and falling to their deaths, and Biden had zero remorse for is deadly incompetence.

And one of those is the lie that Biden and the Democrats are "empathetic" and "care for the commoner" For example, the Biden administration announced that they allow no Cuban asylum applications. Because they vote republican.

  11.  @justkakashi2399  Those have to be fake statistics. There were 11,000 gun homicides in 2016 in the US. But you can make the same argument with other things. 400 kids drown in backyard pools each year. 1 is too many. So ban backyard pools.

  13.  @justkakashi2399  The Australian gun confiscation (which you couldn't do in the US, for reasons in my previous comment) had mixed results. The shootings went down, but the homicide rate didn't change. One of the recent mass murders was by a lunatic in an SUV, ran over 60 people.

  14.  @gruevlock24  Technically they can't. An "assault rifle" is a select fire rifle, such as the M-16. The guns in stores are semi-auto. In states like TX, dads give their son a rifle when he turns about 14. My dad still has his, it's a Winchester lever action 22lr.
