The Chicago cops are pretty good. They were able to tack down the two guys in that surveillance photo only showing their backs. That must have been from Smollett's phone records. They knew to investigate every phone call that Smollett redacted. What in the world made him think it would be a good idea to go on national TV and lie like this.
