  2.  @jimbutler1189  The judge is just pulling a political stunt. If he doesn't drop the case, then it will be dropped on appeal. There's no legal precedent for his actions.

  3.  @jimbutler1189  And if the judge actually sentences him, then it will be dropped by a higher court. You can't prosecute someone after the prosecutor drops the case.
