@SonnyboiMusic I'm not sure where you're coming from. The lawfare is a Democrat cheating operation. No responsible prosecutor would bring a case like this, where the charges aren't even legitimate. That's why the SC might put a stop to it, to save the legal system from shameless Dem hacks.

@WE23anime This isn't a legit case. Bragg is charging Trump with a statute that accuses him of falsifying records to cover up a crime. But there is no crime. Hush money payments, which were made by Cohen, not Trump, are not illegal.

@davidhamilton6612 They do have an opportunity to rule more strongly in favor of presidential immunity. This alleged case took place during Trump's presidency. Bragg is alleging that the legal fees Trump paid to Cohen, after the election, were somehow fraudulent.

You normally wouldn't have a convict testify. But this isn't a normal trial. The prosecution's main witness is the convict Michael Cohen, who served time for lying, and has been excoriated by judges for perjury.
