  1. The Japanese actually thought that during the occupation that the Americans would plunder and have their way with women, so that the Japanese even set up brothels. But then that never happened, and the occupying authority shut down the brothels. General MacArthur even became loved by the Japanese.

  2.  @alvinlin8140  I don't think most Japanese are christianized. They're Shinto and Buddhist. The Japanese didn't suffer because the occupiers were not a brutalized people. Also the Japanese easily accepted peace.

  3.  @abuqadr629  The bombings happened before the end of the war. The occupation was after the war. But I don't know what those numbers are supposed to mean. If the occupations of Germany and Japan were so bad they wouldn't still be allowing US bases in their countries. They currently rely partly on the US for defense. The US has nukes which deters China and N. Korea in Asia, and Russia in Europe.
