So everyone basically knows what happened to her. But that's why many Nazis went to the western and southern areas. But many, such as Traudle Junge, the secretary who dictated Hitler's will, were eventually captured by the Russians. But they let her go after holding her for a year or two. Some Germans might have expected revenge from the US and British soldiers, but it didn't really happen (except for some concentration camp guards be summarily executed).
