Biden is such a clown. You have to develop alternatives first, then price out petroleum. Buying a 60k electric car is not an option for normal people. And that car is powered by 75% fossil fuels -- electricity is only 25% renewables and nuclear.

@Beto Perez Yes. They were caused by the Democrats' actions, excessive relief spending rather than reopening the economy, and the multi-trillion infrastructure bill last year. Biden is an absolute dunce. He has no sense of timing or strategy. You reopen the economy boost production, then you spend and tax.

And, no, the stock market is not boosted by printing money. Printed money is given to banks in the form of loans. Biden's inflation has tanked the stock market. @Beto Perez @Beto Perez That's just cope, and is not true. Inflation didn't go up until Biden was well in office and spent trillions and injected money into the economy, with bad monetary policy. Refer to my previous comment. Inflation kicked in June 2021. It's because the Democrats were restricting supply, by paying covid unemployment, and lockdowns. Money plus supply shortages causes inflation. This causes a domino effect. The inflation eventually caused the stock market to crash. We're now in a recession. The next president is going to spend the entire term fixing the damage from this fool.

@Beto Perez Inflation was 1.3% when Trump left office. This is entirely on BIden's watch. It's because the Democrats have no understanding of economics. His priority was getting money in the pockets of the people, while no concern about the supply. They were saying in 2021 "inflation is transitory", while Trump told them this would cause inflation.

Inflation was between 1-2% through the entire Trump term, with covid lockdowns, etc. Then started climbing in March 2021 21 March 2.6 (1.9 tril covid relief March 11) 21 April 4.2 21 May 5.0 21 Nov 6.8 (1.2 tril Investment, jobs act) 22 March 8.5 This administration has no ability to react to the problems they cause. They denied that inflation was a serious problem until it was >6%. They're people with no talent to govern and are purely ideologically motivated. Sounds like the reassesment wont happen until after the next elections.

@Beto Perez Serious question here. If everything that happens under Biden is someone else's fault: Afghanistan, Ukraine war, covid deaths, record inflation, $7/gal gas, tanking stock market. Then for f-ck's sake, what was the point in supporting the man, who is incapable of tackling any problem? And none of those problems happened under Trump. Biden needs to go. By your own (and his) admission he can't address a single problem that happens under his tenure.

@Beto Perez People know what causes inflation, high demand with short supply. The Trump administration never choked off supply like Biden. It's not complicated. But the Biden administration is full of two types of people, leftwing ideologues, and morons. Biden dumped a tonne of money in the economy with spending in March, during a the supply chain crisis. March is when inflation took off. Again, this is gross incompetence. They were too out of touch and dumb to realize when something is a bad idea. If your car is skidding on a wet road, you don't punch the accelerator, because that worked well on the freeway on ramp. But Biden is brain dead. There are two things you can do about inflation, increase supply or cut demand. Trump would have increased supply, because cutting demand means recession. But Biden wants to give gas rebates, which will increase demand, which will INCREASE inflation. Because he's dumb.

The inflation happened, starting March 2021, because Biden dumped 2 trillion in cash on the economy with supply shortages. That was incredibly stupid. Inflation is caused by high demand and short supply.

@Beto Perez Dude. You're not listening. Biden dumped more money and during a supply chain crisis. Trump wasn't cutting supply. Biden cut US oil/gas production, while there were supply chain problems. Biden immediately reversed all of Trump's deregulation when he entered. Inflation is caused by high demand with a supply shortage. Biden cut supply, then dumped gasoline on the problem with huge spending bills. The Biden admin doesn't even have anyone with a high school knowledge of economics. Biden's brain is calcified so he has no ability to think through what he's doing in real time. For example, you can raise taxes in a boom economy and get a lot of revenue. And if you do the same tax hike during a recession, revenue will drop and the economy tanks. Biden is too senile to tell the difference between such things.

@Beto Perez Not true. The US produced the highest amount in 2020, pre-pandemic. The Biden admin made it much harder to get a permit to drill, including a block on permits to drill off-shore.

@Beto Perez March 2020 US production was 13 million barrels. You've just been repeating Dem spin which is lame and is not working. You picked covid lockdown numbers. Biden is already a lame duck president. Nobody is blaming the president who gave us 1.85/gal gas. Biden cut production by 2 million barrels by the time demand returned, thus price went way up.
