@hughsmith5151 Peace requires Zelensky negotiate a ceasefire and peace. Zelensky wants the US to fund a perpetual war, while the average age of their soldiers is already 40. They're running out of soldiers. In WW2 the USA didn't just fork over money. The allies had lend/lease agreements.

That also explains why globalists are all pro-war. The Democrats consider it a valid excuse for all that, that he has a war to fight. Lincoln also suspended some of those rights, but he didn't suspend elections.

@idontwanttodothisnomore This is the first time I'm aware of, that the DC swamp machine is being stopped by a self-aware and independent thinking president. The normal DC reaction is to label the side you are loosely aligned with as "freedom fighters", and then dump billions into it, with no concern with how many young men and civilians die. Then after decades the war collapses to the stronger power; nothing is gained, except millions dead. The goal was always just moving billions of dollars.

@kayreal1273 The US can either hopefully negotiate an end where 1) The Donbas and Crimea remain under Russian control and are formally some autonomous status (similar to N. Iraq). 2) The war stop. Or 1) US and Europe keeps sending billions to Zelensky and the war continues, with Zelensky conscripting 50 year olds, or foreign troops. 2) Possibly escalating into a larger war with Russia. 3) All while the status quo is maintained: Russia control of the Donbas and Crimea. The Democrats zealously want choice #2 because they're dumb. The Neocons also want #2 because they're sociopaths.

@hughsmith5151 Zelensky got kicked out because he started rolling his eyes and making demands. Trump is only interested in funding a peace, not funding a war. In WW2 even Britain was forced to pay back the support they got from the US. They're last payment was in 2006, I think.

@hughsmith5151 He wants the US to commit to troops on the ground as a security guarantee. But that's not going to happen. Currently, the pro-war party is the Democrats and they lost decisively in November.

So Putin won reelection in 2024. So how is he a dictator? If he were, he would have canceled elections like Zelensky.
