@straightjacket3.519 Ironically, it's pretty sick to try to politically exploit someone's suicide. Few people would commit suicide because there was a riot. They likely committed suicide for personal problems, such as relationships or death in the family. Recall what they did with Sicknick, who died of an unrelated stroke.
15
Why would he even have to be at this trial when he's not testifying?
14
@jimbova6333 The thief is always worried about their things being stolen.
14
I think they get flamed for this because they're disingenuous. The lefty channels complain "Why do you care whether she was black or not." But the producers are making an actual point of changing her race. So it's not the critics who are bringing it up. They obsessed with this historical figure because Egypt is in Africa. But it have never been black Africa.
14
They're going to have a hard time "fortifying" the vote in 2024.
14
@mr.breeze8796 It's revenge racism. Which has always been a common kind. It's payback for perceived grievances.
13
Mexicans are more based.
13
Act Blue, the favorite charity of political assassins.
12
@k.street. Some custodial facilities actually have internet. But not where those SOB's are going.
12
So she's using the disaster as an excuse for a land grab. So she's what Kyle Kullinski calls a "robber-baron."
12
Calling Trump a fascist was such a desperate, dead in the water, smear. Trump made a video describing how he was going to end internet censorship. There has never been a fascist who was against censorship.
12
He's Chris Hayse's masculine alter ego.
12
Trump should promise them all a dental plan.
11
Blacks can make it happen. Because they normally vote so solidly Democrat.
11
Very insurrectiony
11
This will ruin Alvin Bragg's career, and also those under him. Because if you're going to prosecute a major party candidate who is most likely going to be the major party nominee, you better have a very good justification. But on the contrary this is an incredibly convoluted and weak case, to the point of being blatantly unlawful.
11
It was such a travesty of a trial. There was clearly "reasonable doubt", and that's to put it mildly.
11
It's going to be a challenge for Biden just to stay awake and standing for an hour.
11
LOL The Obamas are trying to "take the car keys from Biden". My parents had to do this eventually with grandpa.
11
A lot of what he said just made no sense. "I'm from a small town. I used to ride my bike until the street lights came on. I'm proud of that service." What?
11
Didn't Nelson Mandela execute political enemies by putting a tire around their necks and setting it on fire?
10
They're obviously paying the price for being cavalier about hyper inflation, and tanking stock market. It's amazing that they did this much damage in less than 2 years.
10
All these Trump cases are just going to die on appeal. Each case has gross violations of constitutional rights and of legal precedent. To the people insisting that these are serious. I refer you to the Jack Smith prosecution of the VA governor for bribery. It was overturned unanimously by SCOTUS. Each justice ruled that it was a grossly out of line interpretation of bribery laws. And these cases are much much more extreme bending of laws, which violate constitutional amendments and precendent.
10
So if the state gives your house too low a property assessment, Letisha James will sue you? How is that even legal?
10
@glynnec2008 There's nothing they can do about it at the federal level. The Dobbs decision sends the issue to the states.
10
The amount of salt, because college admissions can't use racial prejudice, is shocking.
10
I think he's so used to getting up and getting away from reporters that he did this automatically.
9
They look more alike than is normal. They all have the same face. That's definitely not true in my family.
9
So I could sell the condominium I have partial ownership with my partner, buy 12 Park Avenue apartments sell one for 25 million and I would be an instant millionaire, with 25 million in cash and 11 Park Avenue Condos to rent.
9
@mattivirta There hasn't been inflation above 3-4% since 1990. Biden brought back and old problem.
9
@FeedMeSalt " that doesn't apply here." Yes, it does. The president declassified what he wants to take when he's leaving office. Document classification is a power that originates with the president's Article 2 power as Commander in Chief.
9
@Time4Project2025 It's not the defense's role to "prove it false". The prosecution never argued the secondary crime in court. It was just assumed.
9
The inflation APR is the measure of how fast prices are increasing. If it dropped to zero, it would still leave us with high prices.
8
Imagine boasting that you were a crooked lawyer working for a "notoriously bad man".
8
He should be disbarred and prosecuted. Withholding evidence in a grand jury is illegal.
8
@garycopley5610 The Presidential Records Act is a civil statute. The appropriate action say when the Archives wants documents back is to sue, not to file criminal charges. They filed criminal charges because the goal is to get Trump. And this has to do with documents with Russiagate documents the agencies don't want published.
8
@bobhilbrich6131 Inflation went up to 4.2% in Spring 2021, and the Democrats doubled down and spent a tonn more, causing inflation to go to 9%.
7
Arrested for J-walking? I've actually never heard of that happening. I've heard of tickets being written in small cities for violations like that, such as ignoring the crosswalk signals. But in my home state they can't even arrest you for a violation.
7
@darkdan3379 "trump lost on election day...again..." Ahhh...they didn't count the votes on election day. Eg. Trump was ahead by 800k votes in PA on election day.
7
The Babylon Bee Satan character is the only Democrat I like.
7
That's what's so annoying about this. If Dr Oz coddled Fetterman, then they'd ridicule him as cruel for disrespecting him as a disabled man. But they're calling Oz "cruel" because he hasn't been coddling Fetterman, but treating him as any opponent.
7
@EdwardHawthorne-y2b I recall him officiating at the funeral for white police who were gunned down at the Dallas shooting by a black nationalist, and he accused them of being biased.
7
If Trump handing out $100 is a "federal crime", what was Biden canceling student loan debt?
7
He'll run. Because after being labeled the "first back woman president", she'll counter the whole being a man meme.
7
This is such good news. What's happening is that the Uniparty has near total control over the corporate media, and the bureaucratic state, but most Americans no longer rely on the legacy media for information.
6
The legacy media, such as Joe Scarborough, are angry because popular podcasts get twice as many views as their cable show. I actually feel nauseous when Joe Scarborough does those angry righteous indignation rants. Who cares what that grossly overpaid hack think?!?!?!
6
The guy literally has the DC establishment and corporate media coddling him. Unlike Brandon, Trump routinely sticks his neck out. He as at some roast, where he used his time at the podium to call the whole crowd of celebrities phonies, with the whole room booing him.
6
@coloniel915 That's undoubtably going to happen. Their problem is that that carries no more seriousness that "he's a convicted felon." The "felony" of his comptroller recording the monthly attorney retainer checks as "legal expense".
6
@vinyllpreviews9462 I recall hearing that Trump's name was mentioned >200 times at the DNC while Harris/Biden were mentioned 2 times at the RNC. They made the same mistake in 2016.
