  1. Trump is NOT a convicted felon, nor a convict of any kind. Judge Merchan indefinitely suspended the sentencing.

  2. The judge has indefinitely postponed the sentencing. So he is NOT a convicted felon. I think the judge is looking for a way out. If he sentences Trump, then it will go to appeal, and he'll get sanctioned by the appellate court.
