  1. Calling Trump a fascist was such a desperate, dead in the water, smear. Trump made a video describing how he was going to end internet censorship. There has never been a fascist who was against censorship.

  2.  @Bran_Redmaw  Before WW2 the Democrats admired fascism. There were editorials in the NYT praising it. They admired the fact that Mussolini could just do things, unburned by a legislature and courts.

  3. Fascism is centralized state control of all aspects of the country, including culture. They did do things that would be considered "right wing" like eliminating labor unions. But that was because all such organization couldn't be independent from the state. Your NSDAP membership was your labor organization. That the Harris campaign was calling Trump a fascist was clear sign they were out of gas, and grasping at straws.
