  1. This will ruin Alvin Bragg's career, and also those under him. Because if you're going to prosecute a major party candidate who is most likely going to be the major party nominee, you better have a very good justification. But on the contrary this is an incredibly convoluted and weak case, to the point of being blatantly unlawful.

  2. The grand jury process, and the DA's deliberations, are actually supposed to protect the prosecutor's credibility, by avoiding pressing charges and a trial when there is no evidence or chance of conviction. It will be Bragg's problem if they want a bogus case.
