  7. That seems to be the European model. They basically give superficial freedom. Eg. someone was telling me "It's my right as a German to take a beer where ever I go". That is, you have freedom as long as you don't seriously buck the government, and can get prosecuted for illegal opinions, with no jury.

  9. Biden is even worse. You could argue that Lincoln, Wilson, and FDR were involved in major wars, a crisis situation. But that doesn't excuse it. Wars aren't won with locking up protesters, ethnic groups, or suspending Habeas Corpus. I think the Biden admin is starting to creep out normies. Throwing the book of statutes at your electoral opponent, or removing him from the ballot, is normalizing tactics that will be used against yourself. Eg. the appointment of Jack Smith violates the law. The law says a special prosecutor has to be appointed by the president and approved by the Senate. So in 2025 Trump might be able to put Biden and Jack Smith on trial.
