  1. This is just straight propaganda.  Read the study.  They compared the health conditions of 589 people who use illegal drugs.   They compared pot smokers to people testing positive for cocaine and heroin, not to the base line of people who don't use drugs.

  5. This is just blatantly wrong.   Marijuana smoke has twice the tar and carcinogens as tobacco smoke.     I could pull up some statistics that "proved" that tobacco had no negative health effects also.

Everyone in their sample population tested positive for illegal drug use.  They didn't compare pot smokers with people who don't use drugs.  They compared pot smokers with people using cocaine and heroin.  Read the study.  They didn't prove "Weed has no negative effects on health."  They proved that weed smokers didn't have more health problems than junkies and cocaine users!

  8. +Larry Kaplan People are very naive about this. A joint is about as bad for your lungs as 10 cigarettes. But also increases your risk of stroke and heart attack, because of its effect on your blood pressure and heart beat.
