Sanders wants to change the US to be economically like Germany: more socialist, more rigid, and about 10k usd per capita lower GDP. Only he's not going to be able to pass any of that. The President mostly just has power over appointments and foreign policy.

  2. +Louisiana red People don't know things, like in the US if you need some specialty medicine for a condition you can get it for free from the pharma company. While in Germany, France or the UK you get it from the government at a high copay. The high student debt that many people have is an issue. But in socialist countries their solution to cost is to limit who can attend universities to only those with high test scores. No one is going to pay for college for all. And if they did it would be high school II.
