It's a recent disease so there's naturally a lot of disagreement. What's unusual is the extreme degree to which it's being politicized, especially by the Democrats. For example, the vaccines are only partially effective, do not stop the spread, but leftists are full on blaming unvaccinated for killing people.

You don't go completely from an anti-vaxer to a pro-vax authoritarian and expect respect. The vaccines do not stop the spread. All the vaccines do is give you an immunization boost. The Democrats are totally lying, and to such a degree that they're not even consistent. Take Wales, 95% vaccination rate. 2/3 of people in the hospital for COVID are vaccinated. It doesn't prevent you from getting COVID, it just reduced the severity of the case, by some debatable degree. But what we're seeing is the Democrats using this the same way 911 was used, to expand government authority.
