There's no such thing as "hate speech". If there were Sam Harris would have been arrested for what he's said about religion, particularly Islam. Defending blasphemers is "hate speech", and is dangerous and gets people killed.

Except Sam Harris left out of cowardice. He's alienated his largely libertarian audience. For example "free speech absolutism" is leftist speak for being pro-censorship.

@jimpavlyuchenko9420 Past Sam Harris wouldn't be ridiculing "free speech absolutists". If Trump revealed what he really thinks, then it revealed Sam to be a douche. He said he would ignore child murder because a Biden win was too important to him -- a presidency which as brought suffering to the middle and working classes and to Afghanistan.

Trump broke his without ever mentioning his name, or even knowing that he exists. I used to like Sam Harris. You'd think he could be man enough to admit that Trump did some good things, eg the destruction of ISIS (the Islamic terrorism in Europe, US, and Turkey then mostly stopped), and the Abraham Accords. But he's changed.

@johnduddy2359 Not tenuous, Biden surrendered Afghanistan to the Taliban. To be fair Harris expressed embarrassment at the callousness of the Biden administration. But he was a supporter. It the result of the myopathy of someone who thinks Trump was worse than Hitler and bin Laden. He used to be smart, but became an idiot.
