Large businesses will move out of the country, while small businesses will struggle. You just don't come out and knee jerk say "we need to lower interest rates" because the bad banks shouldn't make so much. Then you end up with inflation like Argentina.

  20. The polls are not reliable because the pollsters are terrible at predicting turnout. They sample registered or likely voters. But if they can't predict turnout, it doesn't predict the vote. Clinton was polling 6% above Trump in 2016 and she lost.

  23. The Democrats are in disarray. There's currently separate factions vying for power, with Jill and Hunter as Biden's top advisors. Joe Biden's family have been using Joe as a source of money and prestige. They have grifted millions, buy selling access. This is infuriated the rest of the Democrats, who correctly see this as pulling all the down ballot candidates down. The end result of all this is President Trump next year. The party in disarray, without a candidate the party respects, loses.

So we're seeing a weak post convention bounce. The polls have also under counted Trump's support by about 5%, eg in both 2016 and 2020.

Then last week it went up to $65, and then recently dropped back to $50. And the media is all "Trump lost billions with his social media deal!!!" That's a 300% increase in a little over 2 months. They were doing the same BS when he was president. During Trump presidency it was a bull market the whole time (except for a 2 month covid drop). But they would get call him a failure at every readjustment. Under Biden the stock markets just tanked all through 2022.

The difference is that Trump has won the GOP primary decisively, in 2016 and 2020, so the party elites had no choice. All those criminal and civil cases are based on warped interpretations of the law and the procedures denied basic constitutional rights. Any convictions were bound to die on appeal. The Letisha James "fraud" case against him was mocked at the NY appellate court, and the prosecuting lawyers were begging not to be sanctioned.
