  2. The same thing happened with Clinton in 2016. But even the poll (which are not reliable) gave Trump an advantage on election day. So she knew this was not an unlikely outcome.

  4. She's too embarrassed to give the concession call. She spent the last couple weeks calling him a "fascist" and other smears. She would have to pretend to be sincere.

  5. Trump was not going to go to jail for the rest of his life. All those criminal and civil cases are based on warped interpretations of the law and the procedures denied basic constitutional rights. Any convictions were bound to die on appeal. The Letisha James "fraud" case against him was mocked at the NY appellate court, and the prosecuting lawyers were begging not to be sanctioned.
