I've noticed the Democrats never shut up about military service of politicians. But they would never limit voting to those who served.

@bmortloff Bush got belittled for serving. But remember 2004. John Kerry couldn't go 5 minutes without patting himself on the back about going to Vietnam. He previously admitted to committing war crimes, burning villages, etc. Total poseur.

@bmortloff Kerry was constantly bringing up his Vietnam service (to try to out patriot Bush). The problem (and why he failed) is that he testified in the 70s to Congressional committees that his platoon were a bunch of war criminals. He was either lying then or lying during the campaign.
