  2. "Cold Fusion" is a name for a controversial theory that one can get nuclear reactions using complicated chemistry of ions of certain isotopes. It has nothing to do with freezing something as this movie thinks.

  3. They turned Star Trek into a dumb action franchise. The TV episodes (the ones that weren't bad) dealt with actual issues.

  4.  @your.dark.lord.  I think it's even scoffed at by many physicists. It's never been proved to exist. Probably most physicist think it's impossible, because very high energies are needed to fuse nuclei.
