  1. I would think they would be popular in the UK. In the old American west everyone carried a cap and ball revolver, before the brass cartridge revolvers became mass produced around 1873.

  3.  @mikoajpietrych6168  If you had an antique gun, such as a Maxim, you wouldn't want to fire it, because it would be very valuable. In the US you can own machine guns as long as you get the necessary permits from the ATF. They're very expensive, because you can only buy those that have been previously, before 1985, transferred to civilian ownership.
