There are always disputes over what are personal and what goes in the archives, and the archives end up in the presidential library. The documents used to be considered all the personal property of the ex-president, who has constitutional authority to declassify anything while leaving.

  3. This whole think is ridiculous and inappropriate. It's another attempt to criminalize a civil matter, the storage and handling of presidential documents. because Democrat politicians feel that they have some mandate and entitlement to take down Trump. It's also an attempt for the bureaucrats in the FBI and DOJ to reacquire Spygate and Russiagate documents that can compromise them.
