  1. The reason I'm fine with Republican appointments, is that Democrats don't care about legal principles. They just care about how they're going to rule on certain political issues. They're really dishonest about rulings they don't like. Parts of the voting rights act were struck down, because it was based on political issues 50 years ago. You can't continue to single out states based on the politics of the 60s.
