It's not. This is the legal equivalent of a dog chasing its own tail. It's a misdemeanor charge, with expired statute of limitations. Then the prosecutor used some trickery and vague reasoning to raise it to a felony, somehow implying that Trump covered up a campaign finance violation. But the FEC concluded that this payment wasn't a campaign expense. And Trump didn't even make the payment. It was Michael Cohen who made the payment, and he has some silly story that Trump non-verbally instructed him to do it. Whatever? And Michel Cohen is a convicted liar, and serial perjurer, rebuked by judges for his perjury and perjured himself in congress.

This is just going to die on appeal. It's the same scam as all the other cases. Just like the CO 14th amendment ruling. Some judges with TDS do politics in the courtroom, not law. Then it died in the SCUTUS because they take their job and the law seriously.

@TrumpRapedJeanCarrol You're posting the same comment over again. You're wrong twice here. The FEC ruled that it wasn't a campaign expense. Not reporting it was not illegal. Not reporting a campaign expanse or a donation is a fine offense. Obama campaign failed to report 5 million in donations and paid a fine. Do you get tired of playing dumb?
