  1. Aren't there standards for a case to be thrown out on lack of merit? They're charging Trump for "fraudulently not recording the payment Cohen made as a campaign expense". But the FEC doesn't consider it a campaign expense. So, even beyond the obvious political motivation, this is absolute BS. It's the same as if Bragg prosecuted you for cheating on your taxes, when the IRS audited you and said everything was correct.
