Comments by "" (@charlesvan13) on "Former federal prosecutor predicts next steps in Trump hush money case" video.
This is a show trial. The charges don't even make any sense. He's accused of "falsifying business records", but the records have nothing inaccurate. The FEC concluded in 2018 that this payment wasn't a campaign expense.

It's part of the scam. Bragg took one, artificial charge, and split it into 31 pieces. These aren't serious cases. And this case is the biggest joke of them all.

@CMane "Showing how guilty he is." There's no crime here. A hush money (aka NDA) payment is NOT illegal. The woman owes Trump $670,000 in attorney's fees for losing lawsuits against him.

@CJ-ik8qf The indictment is the joke. He's charged with "falsifying business records for the purpose of covering up a crime". But you can't be guilty of that, when there is no crime to cover up. It's even unconstitutional to indict someone without specifying the crime. "In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall ... be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; " This is not a serious case. And WILL NOT survive appeal. All you're doing is driving Trump's polls up with these perverse stunts.

@MrMartinSchneider Dude. These trials are a paragon of Democrat incompetence. They're driving Trump's poll number UP. As Neocon never-trumper Frank Luntz said on CNN. "Listen and remember what I'm saying now. If you jail Trump or proceed to confiscate his properties, it will ensure his election in Nov." He's saying it as a Bush/Romney/Fox republican who hates Trump. And of course they're not going to listen to him, because never Trump neocons and Democrats are hysterical, and cant reason. E.g. you're working to reelect Trump.

@jameswheeler349 It's just going to die on appeal. This is pretty much the weakest case ever. The Democrats are obsessed with these show trials, because Biden is a walking corpse.

@CMane Cavuto's audience is as low IQ as MSNBC. Ummmm...Alvin Bragg was asked when he announced the indictment. Reporter, "The indictment doesn't mention an underlying crime. Why is that?" Bragg, "The statute didn't require it." The Constitution requires it. The 6th Amendment.

@Struieboy Most likely there will be a conviction and it will be thrown out on appeal. There's no way it will survive appellate process. These trials are kangaroo courts. The judge's family has raised 90 million dollars for Democrat campaigns using the case. That said, the SCUTUS would throw this out 9-0. They take the law seriously.

These cases, and especially this one, are just political stunts. Alvin Bragg doesn't even have jurisdiction here, it's a misdemeanor charge with expired statute of limitations, elevated to a felony. A charge of falsifying business records to cover up a crime, with no underlying crime even named in the indictment. The FEC ruled the payment wasn't a campaign expense, and the NY state courts have no jurisdiction over federal elections. It will be overturned on appeal even if they get a conviction on a rigged jury.

LOL Cohen? Sure. He's terrified. A serious perjurer and liar claims something in court.

Cohen is a serial convicted perjurer and liar. He's been admonished by judges for lying; he lied to congress; and he has 7 felony convictions for lying to banks. This case is just a political stunt. It will be thrown out on appeal.
